🎉 8,000 fans celebrate Notts County promotion at Old Market Square
An estimated 8,000 supporters gathered at Old Market Square on Tuesday to celebrate Notts County's promotion to Sky Bet League One following their 3-0 Wembley Play-Off Final victory over Salford City. The squad and Head Coach Martin Paterson appeared on the Council House balcony with the trophy before a formal civic reception with the Lord Mayor and council leader Neghat Khan. Khan said it was "a proud moment not just for the club, but for the entire city". The promotion marks County’s return to the third tier for the first time since 2015. | Source

Nottingham Restaurant Week returns from Monday June 1 - Saturday June 14 with over 65 venues offering deals from £10-£30, including three-course meals for £25 and lunchtime bargains. 🗣️ Four-week PSPO consultation launched for Nottingham residents
Nottingham City Council is consulting residents, businesses and visitors on a proposed Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) for the city centre, running until June 23. The measures aim to tackle anti-social behaviour while supporting a vibrant, welcoming city centre. Have your say online at on the Nottingham City Council website.

🍗 Dave's Hot Chicken opening at Trinity Square
Dave's Hot Chicken, a Nashville-style chicken brand, is opening at Trinity Square in the former Son of Steak unit. Founded in Los Angeles in 2017 by three childhood friends with $900 and a portable fryer, the concept became an Instagram sensation before launching permanent restaurants. Their UK debut came in late 2024, with Nottingham the second East Midlands venue following Leicester. The company's goal is to "make juicy, spicy, hot chicken that will Blow Your Mind" - keep an eye on their page for the latest!
