Nottingham’s underground legacy just got even deeper - 924 caves have now been officially recorded beneath the city, more than double the number known in 2009. A £1.7m Heritage Fund grant will help Nottingham Cathedral revive Pugin’s stunning 1840s design, including colourful medieval-inspired chapel décor lost beneath decades of neutral paint. A new initiative called Built in Notts has launched to connect Nottingham’s tech talent, entrepreneurs, and investors under one collaborative community. Founded by entrepreneur Martin Sandhu, the platform aims to position Nottingham as a national tech hub and encourage growth beyond London.
