💚 Green Hustle celebration returning May 30 with free activities city-wide
One not to miss - Green Hustle returns Saturday May 30, 11am-6pm and this year will be expanding from Old Market Square to Sussex Street, Central Library and the Green Heart. A new geodome will host Experian and E.ON Next's "Grow Yourself" hub with science, numeracy and wellbeing activities, while a long dining table will be the square's centre piece for community meals. Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust, Woodland Trust and others join artists and musicians, with pay-as-you-feel Community Kitchen food and street vendors. Sussex Street offers city gardening, skate lessons and a Slow Fashion Catwalk. Best yet - all activities are free! Visit greenhustle.co.uk or follow @greenhustlefest for more details.
🎯 Flight Club switching to former Ted Baker unit on Bridlesmith Gate
Flight Club is now set to open in Bridlesmith Gate's former Ted Baker unit after Nottingham City Council approval, following a strategy change from previous plans for taking over the former Flannels location nearby. Flight Club withdrew that application late last year before recently securing the new site. No official open date has been announced as of yet, but we’ll keep you posted and you can also check out their website for the latest. | Source
