🤝 New campaign launches to clean up and care for Nottingham city centre
Nottingham City Council has launched their "Love Your City Centre" initiative, partnering with police, both universities, and local businesses to tackle persistent issues like litter, fly-tipping, rough sleeping, begging, and anti-social behaviour. The campaign kicked off with a Day of Action in Hockley on Thursday, building on the success of the previous "Love Your Streets" effort. 🚉 East Midlands secures £2bn for major transport upgrades
East Midlands Mayor Claire Ward has secured a game-changing £2 billion investment over five years to revolutionise transport links between Nottingham and Derby.
