Young supporters raised £9,400 for Framework through the Robin Hood Mini Marathon, Sleep Out challenges, abseils and fundraising stalls. Framework's Young Supporters Awards celebrated 17 individual fundraisers, 3 schools and a Scouts group. Guest speaker Adam Pagett, a former rough sleeper, shared how Framework helped rebuild his life after homelessness and prison. New Youth Patrons Ciara Hough and Maggie James (Brookside Primary) are taking over, with Maggie already raising £800 swimming Rutland Water. Great effort from everyone involved! | Source

Darren Coates, 45, is running the Robin Hood Half Marathon on September 27 to honour his father Ian, killed in the June 2023 Nottingham attacks. He's aiming to raise £50,000 for Huntingdon Academy where his dad was caretaker for seven years. Nottingham City Council will match funds if he reaches £25,000. Darren, who has pins and plates in one ankle, has already lost 9kg training and says the challenge is helping his mental health after the inquiry ended. You can donate to Darren’s campaign here!

Accell, the Dutch owner of iconic Nottingham bike maker Raleigh, has begun insolvency proceedings after saying it "exhausted all available options." The company, which bought Raleigh for $100m in 2012, suffered £30m losses and saw redundancies in 2024. Founded in Nottingham in 1887, Raleigh once employed 8,000 people and was the world's biggest bike maker. Despite February's restructuring and shareholder funding, Accell said no solution could continue the group in its current form. | Source
