⚽️ Forest's £130m City Ground makeover recommended for approval

The long-awaited City Ground redevelopment has been recommended for approval, with planners giving the thumbs up to Forest's plans. The ageing Peter Taylor Stand will be demolished and replaced with a shiny new 10,000-seater that'll bump the ground's capacity up to 35,000. The new stand will be the tallest at 38m high, plus there are plans for 169 apartments next door. If it gets final approval on 26 June, Forest can finally buy the freehold and start building within three years. | Source

🥖 Bryan Henesey's Breadmill Bakery wins Nottinghamshire's best baker for second year running

If you've ever wondered what those massive queues at The Garage Sunday market in Chilwell are about, it's all down to Bryan Henesey and his Breadmill Bakery. Breadmill have just been crowned Nottinghamshire's best baker for the second year running by the England Business Awards - and anyone who's tasted their sourdough knows why.
